We live in a world where many things are labeled right that opposes the character and will of God. God, by his grace, has forgiven all our sins (past, present, and future) but never should grace permit one to live a life not subject to God's will. The bible says in James 4:7 AMPC So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you. God has a great destiny ahead of you. The sacrifices you make to be set apart for God's use and resist the evil temptations of the world preserve the great future ahead. Always remember God is not trying to make you miss out on a fun life. He wants to ensure you complete every good work destined for you.
Prayer for the Journey
Father, thank you for the power given by the Holy Spirit to resist the evil temptations of the world. It is an honor to be set apart for your use. Help me to remember that a yielded life is a blessed life. Thank you for helping me not be saddened over the sacrifices I make of living a holy life. Help me to remember that every sacrifice gets me closer and closer to what you have destined for me to do.
